In a statement released Monday that spread quickly over jihadist Web forums, Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula claimed responsibility for the entire year of 2009, sending the Obama administration into a rush of closed, high level meetings to deal with the political fallout from the year-long attack.

Taking credit for everything from Jon and Kate’s breakup, Tiger Woods’ dalliances and the Balloon Boy to the recession, Obama’s Nobel Peace Prize and Glenn Beck, the group that claimed loyalty to Osama bin Laden alleged that Al Qaeda launched 2009 in response to “American aggression” in Yemen, which has been the site of recent U.S. predator drone attacks.  The message maintained that Read more

Will O’Reilly Blame Washington Times Fall On Its Right Wing Slant?

(Full disclosure: I have been published in The Washington Times, New York Times, Philadelphia Inquirer and the Los Angeles Times)

In April of this year, Bill O’Reilly wrote that “The New York Times is most definitely a committed left-wing concern that is openly contemptuous of the conservative, traditional point-of-view. That is the primary reason the paper may soon dissolve.”  He’s laid the same wood to the Philadelphia Inquirer, Los Angeles Times and pretty much any newspaper or mainstream media outlet who wrote or said something Bill disagreed Read more

As a followup to his call for a Fast and Prayer for the Republic on the same day as Yom Kippur, the Jewish day of atonement and the religion’s highest holy day, Glenn Beck has officially changed his birthday to December 25th, a day some have been known to celebrate a holiday called Christmas.

“I thought that our founders would have wanted future Americans to celebrate my birthday on a day they didn’t have to work,” said Beck.

This journalistic responsibility cannot be outsourced to Comedy Central and Jon Stewart.

Remember…Fear sells!

There’s far more danger than meets the eye in President Obama’s program. While he promises affordable health insurance for everyone, what he and the Democrats aren’t telling you is that there will be hell to pay if you’re over 55. To the Democrats, 55 is the new 95.

Some of the programs and events that will be affected or prohibited altogether under the president’s tax hike health program include…
