Anti-Liberal Film Comedy Tanks!  Joins Fox’s 1/2 Hour Comedy Hour in the Comedy Failure File

Talk about weekend GROSS.  This past week, Bill O’Reilly told David Zucker, producer of the anti-liberal comedy, “An American Carol” - which Bill has a cameo in - that the film would open at $14 million, which would have placed it at #3 behind “Beverly Hills Chihuahua” and “Eagle Eye.”

Surprise, surprise.  The film’s first weekend gross came in  at #9 with $3.8 million just ahead of Bill Maher’s

documentary, “Religulous” $3.5 mil, but finished far behind “Religulous”’s per-screen average of $6972 to “An American Carol”’s $2325 per screen, or less than 1/3.

Guess the Folks weren’t ready for your closeup, huh, Mr. D’Bill?
