Palin To Pull Out Of VP Debate: Refuses to Participate Until Couric Bailout is Negotiated

Early today, the McCain Campaign put out a release stating that Republican vice presidential nominee, Sarah Palin, will not be showing up for Thursday’s VP debate in St. Louis.

“Governor Palin will be taking the first plane back to CBS and will stay there until she is able to come up with a bailout of the interview she did with CBS anchor, Katie Couric.

“It seems someone has that interview went on for days,” said Plain spokesman, Tucker Bounds.

“Just as soon as they finish airing one segment, another one starts rolling around the Internet. Governor Palin is running for Vice President, not YouTube viral joke of the day.  At least not on purpose.”

“It was like I had to make up every answer,” said Palin in a statement written for her by someone other than herself. “If I knew that my responses to Katie’s questions were not going to be provided to me before hand then I wouldn’t have done the interview in the first place. Katie is a good mom, almost as many kids as me, I betcha, and pretty darn smart, but clearly, she is in the tank for the Democrats, I tellya.”

The Republican nominee will stay in the CBS new editing studio until Couric agrees to stop releasing portions of the interview or at least redo the interview with the answers Palin’s “learned real good” since the interview.

Woman Against Abuse believe the debate could set their movement back thirty years.

“It has the potential to lose everything we’ve worked for, ” said a WAB spokesperson. “Do we really need another ‘Three’s Company…let alone a  cast member a heartbeat away from running the country?”

“And I’m not talking about Jack or the brown-haired one,” she added.

It is frightening that Palin could be a heart beat away from the presidency if McCain wins. To have this simple minded woman as the head of the free world with the might of America at her fingertips is tragedy for our country. She is intellectually inferior.

I’m not so concerned about Sara Palin as much as I am about the way McCain goes about making his decisions. The decision he made with regard to Palin was short term. The decision he made to go to D.C. to help with the bail out was short term. He reacts to the now without regard to the long-term affects. I wonder if this is how he ended up a POW. Did he make a “Hail Mary” decision that ended up getting him captured?

CBS and Katie - Do not give in! She has no right to hold you guys ransom. You owe it to the public to show that interview in full as it was.

And she needs to be out there giving more interviews if we are to even consider her for the position. Even for a two-bit job, ppl have to go through interviews. Why not for the 2nd highest position in the US?

Sarah Palin is a Master Debater. You’ll find out soon enough. However, if you want to see before the debate, this picture on this site says it all.

She is really scary but I don’t know what’s worse: her or the apathy and (purposeful) ignorance of the American voter. WAKE UP people!!!! Do you see what is happening to this country? Do you see how the US is being torn apart? Do you really think Palin is pro-woman when she (herself) has said she would ban abortion in almost all cases INCLUDING rape and incest? How can you be pro-woman and talk about doing something like that? Put your view about abortion aside and think about that though – is it right to force someone who has been victimized to give birth when they NEVER did anything to deserve being impregnated in the first place? Haven’t you all tired of religious beliefs being forced on you? I won’t go into the horrible things that have been done to the US so far (check out or Http:// if you really want to get into conspiracy theories).

She’s a joke that we have to explain to the rest of the world. When you have to explain a joke, it’s not funny, and makes you look like an asshole.
