Palin To Pull Out Of VP Debate: Refuses to Participate Until Couric Bailout is Negotiated
Early today, the McCain Campaign put out a release stating that Republican vice presidential nominee, Sarah Palin, will not be showing up for Thursday’s VP debate in St. Louis.
“Governor Palin will be taking the first plane back to CBS and will stay there until she is able to come up with a bailout of the interview she did with CBS anchor, Katie Couric.
“It was like I had to make up every answer,” said Palin in a statement written for her by someone other than herself. “If I knew that my responses to Katie’s questions were not going to be provided to me before hand then I wouldn’t have done the interview in the first place. Katie is a good mom, almost as many kids as me, I betcha, and pretty darn smart, but clearly, she is in the tank for the Democrats, I tellya.”
The Republican nominee will stay in the CBS new editing studio until Couric agrees to stop releasing portions of the interview or at least redo the interview with the answers Palin’s “learned real good” since the interview.
Woman Against Abuse believe the debate could set their movement back thirty years.
“It has the potential to lose everything we’ve worked for, ” said a WAB spokesperson. “Do we really need another ‘Three’s Company…let alone a cast member a heartbeat away from running the country?”
“And I’m not talking about Jack or the brown-haired one,” she added.
