Steve Gets Ink (Where To Read Steve Young In Real Live Papers and Magazines)
This week Steve’s articles appear in Thursday’s LA Daily News opinion section, Friday’s Philadelphia Daily News opinion section (no relation) and next Sunday’s Philadelphia Inquirer opinion section (Currents). While I know you were able to read the Daily News pieces (what happened to you New York DN?) right here, the Sunday Inquirer piece is a completely new and terribly literate piece on the state of political satire in 2008. Nothing is funnier than seriously writing about humor . I would normally place the typographical “wink” right here so that you would know I was kidding about that statement but I know that given the satirical-comprehension quotient of my readers, there is no need for that
.
Also, this Monday’s The New Yorker story on Bob Barr features some nice Steve Young references and material appearing to make me seem somewhat credible. Please don’t believe everything you read.
Steve
UPDATE: I checked the Sunday Inquirer and the piece did not appear. I’m not saying I’m irate, but if I did say I was irate, I would be telling the truth. Then they wrote to say it’s going in next Sunday (10/26) and I was all better.

You’re back in the LA Daily News? I thought they had dropped your Sunday column - that and the Wall Street Journal pages in the Business section (plus the once-plentiful Ralphs coupons) were the reason I bought the Daily News…
bn,
The LA Daily News needed to fill an iddy-biddy space. They keep cutting pages. I’m surprised the DN prints on both sides of a page. If you want laughs, you can go to the WSJ editorial section.
